Alex Frost has operated her practice for 12 years, and expertly advises owner-operated SME businesses, start-ups, investors, and individuals with complex affairs. Having successfully grown two practices in inner Sydney, Alex moved to Agnes Water in 2016 (a fantastic decision) and trained our local staff to support her specialist Australia-wide practice online.

Highly knowledgeable of tax laws and accounting technologies for clients in various industries, Alex keeps across the changes that affect small businesses to help them plan for better outcomes. She understands the realities of today's increasingly digital business environment and enjoys helping our clients develop a clear grasp of their financial affairs to transform their businesses.

Alex is a Chartered Tax Adviser and Qualified Accountant holding a Professional Practice Certificate (IPA), with a specialist focus on business advisory and tax law. She assists our clients with their financial planning and self-managed superannuation by referral to a trusted adviser network.

Alex believes that innovation and creativity is essential for regional economies to thrive beyond 2020, and is on the boards of Start Up Gladstone and the 1770 Art Show. She enjoys a quiet lifestyle, close to nature, and her goal is for herself, her staff and our clients to reach their full potential and have rewarding careers in a healthy environment.

Kristie Ogden is a qualified accountant from Gladstone who moved to Agnes Water in 2017 to pursue a promising career with us. With 7 years' professional practice experience in tax, auditing and SME business accounting, Kristie prepares our clients' financial reports and tax returns, cloud accounting records, budgets and cash flow forecasts.

Kristie can meet with you to organise your tax returns, put your financials in order, analyse your business's performance and assist with your audit. Her upbeat, caring and friendly manner combined with excellent organisational skills makes all those difficult processes surprisingly easier.

Kristie is completing a Masters of Business Administration through Deakin University, to further develop her business advisory focus. She keeps her tax knowledge up to date with online seminars.

Lisa Wilson is a long term Agnes Water resident, and an Associate of the Institute of Public Accountants completing her final professional subject. She has worked with us since early 2016 and has 15 year's small business bookkeeping and accounting experience. 

She's very clever too! Lisa is our 'cloud accounting' expert and has gained practical knowledge in all aspects of business taxation, GST and payroll since achieving her BAS Agent and Accountancy qualifications with us. 

Lisa can set up your new accounting systems in Xero or MYOB and greatly enhance your efficiencies with cloud business tools and add-ons. She can review your business's internal accounting procedures and profitability, and work with you or your bookkeeper to make sure your business is inputting the correct information for management decisions. Ask her to plan your lodgments and help you manage cash flow so as to minimise your risks. 

Lisa works closely with Kristie on company tax returns, and keeps her knowledge up to date with regular online training and tax seminars.

Jenni Hounsell is a tech savvy bookkeeper with experience in SME’s, STP, cloud business tools, paperless e-filing apps, digital business and e-commerce. Her experience as a bookkeeper has been gained within accounting firms so she’s been exposed to all manner of complexities and absorbed a high level of knowledge.

Jenni provides in-house bookkeeping services for us to deliver a high quality product efficiently and within clients’ budgets. She works in lock step with our accounting team to help drive the practice’s workflow.

Jenni likes keeping fit and going on road trips with her husband. She’s usually in the office working alongside Lisa. But thanks to our secure online practice systems, she can work remotely wherever she goes… even when she’s away doing tax returns in remote Australia for indigenous artists!

Gyana joined us in 2017 following her big move from Sydney to Agnes Water. A consummate professional administrator with 15 years of experience, Gyana has been busily maintaining and improving on all of our databases, systems, processes and technology tools ever since. She also manages our Brisbane office remotely, to keep the whole team connected.

As Client Concierge, Gyana will organise your appointments and assist with gathering your records, to help ensure your interactions with our accountants are as smooth and productive as can be. She is a highly motivated problem solver too, and quickly resolves any business technology issues for our practice and clients.

Gyana also maintains our internal accounts and keeps the business ticking along day to day. We know she wants an office dog and one day her wish may come true... Alex is thinking about it.
